-10 granny smith apples (peeled and corded)
-1 tsp. ground cinnamon
-1/4 cup of white sugar
-1 Tbs. vanilla extract
-2 sticks butter softened
-1 cup rice flour
-1/4 cup apple juice
-1/2 cup brown sugar
-1 cup crumbled general mills rice chex cereal
Heat oven to 375 degrees
grease an 8×8 pan
Slice peeled apples.
In a large mixing bowl, mix sliced apples and sprinkle with 1/2 tsp. of cinnamon
and 1/4 cup white sugar and put aside.
In a food processor put the rice flour in and put 1 stick of butter and pulsate then add other stick of butter and pulsate little more till flour becomes crumbly.
Dump flour, butter mixture into separate bowl and add brown sugar, vanilla, and rice chex mix together.
Then take your pan and put the apples in and pour the apple juice over them. Then take flour mixture and sprinkle on top of apples and spread it out.
Place pan in oven and bake uncovered for 45min. Or until apples are soft and top is nicely golden brown.
