Here are some gluten free recipes for a wonderful delicious Easter Dinner!

Gluten Free spiral smoked ham:
Hams that are gluten free are
-Kirkland Costco brand signature apple wood smoked spiral ham
-Honey baked ham company
-Berkshire smoked ham
-Farmer John ham

Just remember do not use the glaze that comes with it some of them are not gluten free. Here’s a recipe to make your own glaze for the ham.

Glaze for ham:

-Two small cans of pineapple tidbits
-white sugar
-ground cloves
In a frying pan pour two can of pineapple in on high heat add in 1/2 cup of sugar and 1/2 tsp of ground cloves. Cook on medium heat till caramelized about 30 min.

Take ham spirals and open and pour some of this on the top and inside of ham before you place in oven.

Candied Carrots:

Frozen carrots or fresh, if you use fresh cut up in 1 inch circles and boil them until slightly tender.
If frozen just put them in frying pan on stove frozen.
-2 pounds of carrots
-butter 1/2 pound
-orange juice 1 cup
-brown sugar 1/2 cup

Take a large frying pan and place carrots in and butter put on medium heat, after butter melts put brown sugar and orange juice in. Cook for 30-45 min till caramelized.

Sweet potato casserole:

-4 pounds of sweet potatoes peeled and chopped large pieces
-1 stick of salted butter
-1/4 cup of brown sugar
-3 TBS of honey
-1/2 cup of milk
-3 eggs
-2 TBS vanilla extract
-1/2 cup of heavy cream
-pinch of cinnamon

Boil sweet potatoes till soft.
Drain, and add butter and rest of ingredients. Mash and mix adjust seasoning to taste.
Place in greased pan and bake for 40 minutes in oven at 375 degrees and then you can add marshmallows on and put back in oven to melt and toast 7 min.
